A review of Hellcrash "Demonic Assassinatiön"

"Demonic Assassinatiön"

Dying Victims 2023

The guys from Hellcrash apparently have some kind of fetish for heads separated from the rest of the body. On the cover of their debut album "Krvcifix Invertör" they brazenly decapitated Mr. Jesus of Nazareth, and now they're letting the Devil do fellatio with the freshly cut off head of a blond maiden. Sick fuckers. And that's exactly the kind of fuckers we need, especially if musically they are as infantile as the covers adorning their releases. I won't repeat myself too much, because in fact, what I wrote two years back about their first full lenght, I could directly apply to the new recordings of this Italian crew. "Demonic Assassinatiön" is a denial of development, a natural continuation of the style known from the Cross Invertor, introducing absolutely no modernization or innovative elements. Hellcrash simply love the old music. It should be clearly noted, music thoroughly metal, being a summarized definition of this genre. Roughness, simplicity, vulgar image and the same approach to music. If you love the eighties with all their inventory, then the music of this trio of fuck-ups is aimed at you. At those who don't give a shit about clean sound, fine ornamentation or non-core instruments. Imagine a mix of Venom, Motorhead and Bulldozer, add an even bigger pinch of sulfur and a big bucket of steaming tar and out comes Hellcrash. You say I'm simplifying? Fuck, I bet such comparisons would be the greatest compliment to the band members themselves, because they are well aware that if it weren't for the names just mentioned, there would be no "Demonic Assassinatiön"! And the second point, no less important, is that Hellcrash's imitation of the classics comes out at least a class above just fine level. Each of the tracks included on this album is a real speed/black metal ass-kick With each one you want to break a cross and stick it up deep in an old nun's large intestine. There is no boredom in these recordings, there is anger, blasphemy and maximum sincerity. I think Dying Victims fucked it up a bit, because this album should obligatorily come with a flask of strong liquor, a belt with cartridges, a box of studs and a considerable length of chain, with which you could wrap yourself at least twice. Only then can you play these recordings at the highest volume and make a mess for Satan. I will summarize very briefly. Hellcrash plays metal. The kind that used to be played back in the days. And let that be the only recommendation, because whois to understand it, they surely will.
