Tym maniakom, którym ciśnienie już skoczyło, od razu
oznajmiam, że nie jest to jeszcze nowy
album Omegavortex. Aczkolwiek, przynajmniej dla mnie, rzecz jeszcze bardziej
zajebista. Mógłbym tu w tym momencie pisać referaty, jak to kiedyś, w czasach
zamierzchłych, słuchało się nagrań z piwnicy, garażu czy innego kanału ściekowego,
i człowiek był szczęśliwy niczym świnia w gównie, bo dostawał po ryju totalnym
prymitywizmem, a takowy kochał ponad flaszkę wódki. Dziś wszystko jest
ugrzecznione, wymuskane, wypolerowane niczym pała po serwisie u Sashy Grey.
Istnieją jednak zespoły, które generalnie w chuju mają nowomowę, i nie dość, że
napierdajalą muzykę do bólu bestialską, to jeszcze są w stanie zaserwować swoje
nagrania w totalnie surowej, niezmasterowanej, kompletnie nieobrobionej wersji.
Coś na zasadzie dawno już zapomnianych reh’ów. Omegavortex, obok Concrete
Winds, to obecnie najbardziej wściekły, bezkompromisowy przedstawiciel sceny
deathmetalowej. Zespół, który nie bawi się w półśrodki, czerpie głęboko z
klasyki gatunku, a płynące z lat dziewięćdziesiątych inspiracje przekuwa w
własny, niepowtarzalny i rozpoznawalny styl. Jeśli kiedyś, pod koniec lat
osiemdziesiątych, moim wyznacznikiem ekstremy były takie składy jak Napalm Death czy
Repulsion, to dziś ich odpowiednikiem jest właśnie Omegavortex. To, co ci ludzie
wyczyniają z instrumentami, to jest jakiś kosmos. Zero litości, zero
kompromisu, jedynie czysty muzyczny wkurw. „Paranormal Violence” to sześć
kawałków, które zwiastują trzeci album niemieckiej załogi (plus materiał ze
splitu z Pious Levus jako bonus). Sześć numerów będących kontynuacją muzycznej
anihilacji, jedynej właściwej drogi wybranej przez tych zwyrodnialców na samym
początku istnienia zespołu. Materiał ten wydany został w formie nie mniej
prymitywnej i staroszkolnej niż sama muzyka. Rzeczone demo ukazało się nakładem
Ancient Spirit Terror w nakładzie stu pięćdziesięciu kaset robionych metodą
chałupniczą, czyli ksero i bardzo oszczędna zawartość. Dla mnie to perełka w
kolekcji, bo takie wydania dziś należą
do rzadkości. Wszystkim, którzy ten odłamek chaosu także chcieliby postawić u
siebie na półce zalecam pośpiech w zakupie, bo za jakiś czas może się okazać,
że zaspaliście. I będzie, kurwa, płacz…

For those geeks
whose blood pressure has already jumped, let me announce straight away that
this is not yet the new Omegavortex album. Still, at least for me, an even more
awesome thing. I could go on and on telling how, back in the old days, you
listened to recordings from a basement, a garage or some other sewer and you
were happy as a pig in shit, because you got blown away by total primitivism,
which you loved more than a bottle of vodka. Nowadays, the music production is clean
and polished like after a service at Sasha Grey’s. There are, however, bands
who generally don't give a fuck about newspeak, and not only smash with their
music to the point of painful beastliness, but they are also able to serve
their recordings in a tottaly raw, unmastered, completely unprocessed version.
Something in vein of long-forgotten rehearsal releases. Omegavortex, next to
Concrete Winds, is currently the most furious, uncompromising representative of
the death metal scene. A band that doesn't play with half-measures, draws
deeply from the classics of the genre, and transforms the inspiration flowing
from the nineties into their own unique and recognisable style. If once upon a
time, at the end of the 1980s, my benchmark of extremism was bands like Napalm
Death or Repulsion, then today their equivalent is Omegavortex. What these guys
do with their instruments is a fucking cosmos. No mercy, no compromise, just
pure musical fury. ‘Paranormal Violence’ is the six tracks that herald the
German crew's third album (plus the material from the split with Pious Levus as
a bonus). Six songs that are a continuation of musical annihilation, the only
right path chosen by these degenerates at the very beginning of the band's
existence. This material was presented in a form no less primitive and
old-school than the music itself. The demo in question was released by Ancient
Spirit Terror in an edition of one hundred and fifty cassettes made using the
cottage industry method, i.e. photocopying and very economical content. For me
it is a gem in the collection, as such releases are rare today. To all of you
who would also like to have this piece of chaos on your shelf, I recommend that
you hurry up the purchase, because in a while you may find that you have
overslept. And then you will fucking cry....
